Standard Fuel Pressure for a Ver2 STi ?
Can anyone tell me what the standard fuel pressure should be for a version 2 STi (phase 1 engine)?
The reason I ask is I've just fitted an adjustable FPR and I need to set it to standard pressure.
I have a workshop manual for the European turbo 2000 of that year and it states the base fuel pressure to be between 2.5 and 2.7 Bar at idle. Are the STi's the same?
I also have manuals for the later cars and they have higher base pressure of 3 bar that most people say is correct when asking on here.
The original FPR I took off has no marking on it as to what pressure it is but it does have some part numbers on it, Unisia jecs A44-000R55 6209E.
Does anyone know if this is the same part as UK turbos use (of that year)?

Thanks Phil, I wasn't sure about them being the same. On the one hand it makes sense from a production point of view, but also seeing as they make 271 Bhp with their 380cc injectors, the duty cycles must be really high as standard.
Are the standard 380cc injectors rated at 2.5bar?

Yup, it,s the injector cycle that changes.
If you set up your fuel pressure to 2.5 bar static, you will be ok to run & drive the car in a normal manner, but don't do any prolonged, hard/full boost driving until you have had a re-map, at that point it will probably be increased to about 3.5 bar
