good old MY95 WRX,prob been thrashed in japan etc.

my gear changes are notchy fromm 1st to 2nd, sometimes 2nd to 3rd.

runnin syntrax oil, always have, changed it for another gear oil,wow,syntrax works as the other oil made the gear changes worse, so i think i know the answer.

so, question, clutch or gearbox causin the notching, suspect gearbox, but would anew clutch help.

i have had the clutch slippin,not lately,but last yr when raggin it, hasnt done it for a while this yr when ragged so maybe it was under used ha ha

was lookin to go for a light flywheel and new lutch etc

Sounds like the box. Worth taking it to Zen if you are nearby as they will be able to diagnose and fix for you.

We have some cracking deals on forged lightweight flywheels at the moment starting at under £200.
