After new ECU Error Code 44
first i have to say i have an 96 Impreza STI 2 Wagon
my stock ECU (SC) i had damage when i had try to install my performance chip...
so i had bought a new ECU (7D) incl. a Performance Chip.
Today i had install it... start the engine.... it starts... but my Engine Fault Lamp is always ON.
So than i had make an ECU Reset to see which Fault Code i have... and voila ... its a 4 and 4... so 44, what i had found out means Wastegate control solenoid valve ...
hmmm... whats wrong?
should i try to change the performance chip what is installed to that one i had bought specially for my car?
or maybe i have wrack something .... and what by the boost solenoid could be wrong?
maybe i can trick it out? but how?
who can help me?
thanks

i checked the solenoid directly to the battery... the solenoid works
if i disconnect the solenoid .. than i have on the connector what comes from the ECU (??) 12V!
So... if i connect the solenoid than the Voltage is 0V... and the solenoid is still close.
Who knows where exactly the 2 cables from the boost solenoid connector goes? i found only the black cable should go to the ECU B44 Pin 3 (Wastegate Control)... thats the Gnd (-) ... from where the Solenoid get his 12V + Signal.. the cable is Yellow with Red
i must know it to check why the voltage fall down from 12v to 0 when i connect the solenoid
thanks for your help
