Default Fuel pump test

Think I need a new fuel pump. Anyone know how to test? I presume you take a fuel pipe off and see if there's fuel?

Cheers
Mark

Open the access hatch in the boot. Its on the drivers side just behind the rear seats. There should be 3 fuel lines connected to the top of the tank, IIRC the middle hose is the delivery hose (should have the sturdiest hose clip). Remove it and have someone crank the engine. If no fuel pumps out it's knackered, or your not getting power to the length of the pump.

Personally i'd take the fuel lines off in the engine bay to see if she's pumping fuel. That way your not going to stink your car out.
