Hi guys,

got the old chech engine light up so checked the fault codes, got 24 Idle air control sensor and 33 Vehecle speed sensor. The speedo hasnt worked since matey came to change the kph to mph, he's coming back this week to fix it but could the two be related? its over boosting too, to about 1.5bar so im not driving it at the mo, not sure if that could be related too? iv ordered new vac hose and a new actuator as its now 10 years old it could probilly do with replacing.

If the speedo being fixed doesnt sort it where is the Idle air control sensor?

Idle valve is on the battery side of the engine by your accerlater cable, it is a little grey boxy looking thing with a green or yellow label on it depending what year you scoob you have.
