Have you also connected the two black wires together? In the reset procedure it states to connect green to green then black to black, then switch on ignition.
If you still have no joy you can do a search, just type in 'Ecu Reset'. Hope you sort it.

All the stuff I had read said to connect just the black to read any error codes then connect black and green to do the reset so maybe just connecting green does nothing? When I was trying on my car the clicking only happened when black and green were connected.

As far as I know.
I connected the black ones then turned ignition on with no noises and read off the error code from the light flashing. I then switched off and connected green to green and black to black then turned ignition back on and everything was clicking away. You have to press the accelerator during this but I cant remember the exact order for the reset, as mentioned if you search for it someone will have the full instructions. I think I found them at Jolly green monsters website, it gave a step by step list of instructions.

The reset procedure is as follows-
Connect wires as above green to green black to black.
Turn on ignition but don't start.
Engine light should now be on.
Press accelerator to the floor then release to half way and hold for a few seconds.
Take your foot off accelerator completely.
Start your car.
If the engine light flashes refer to fault codes that are on here, just do a search.
If it does not flash drive the car until warm, but take it steady.
When its all reset the engine light will flash at a regular rate.

there is a second set of green connectors that run in series with the ones under the dash.. 99.9% of the time they are connected already, in this case I suspect they aren't.
