output shaft oil seal
Hi guys,
Removed gearbox from the car this evening as im changing the clutch and flywheel, I have noticed that there is oil around the output shaft.
How difficult is it to change the seal?
The car must be out the workshop I am using tomorrow afternoon so if my local dealer dont have a seal in stock can it be done with the gearbox fitted to the car??
Thanks

More likely that the oil is leaking from back of the engine from either the rear main seal, or the oil drain cover plate. - Remove the clutch and flywheel to inspect.
Rear Main should be available off the shelf from any dealer
Cover plate can be cleaned and resealed with Threebond or similar sealant.
