I have one fitted to my 1999 uk impreza. It came like it so i couldn't tell you how to fit it.
I'm wanting to swap mine back to a standard one though. If you live near me then hows about i buy your standard off you and before we remove them we can both see how they are fitted on each car.
Just an idea, i'm in northamptonshire

The 98 and 99 BOV are different. The 99 one is attached directly to the TMIC. The 98 one is attached to a hope coming from the front of the TMIC and dissapears down the passenger side of the TMIC.
No pics but you cant miss it.......its black and has hoses attached to it.

Thanks Shmerman, i didn't realise that they were different, my bailey dump valve is attached to the front of the intercooler. I also have a pipe that that comes from somewhere round the back of the engine that is cut short and blocked off, is this to do with the dump valve?

Thats the pipe that the standard dv vents boost pressure back into the intake. with the bailey fitted, it vents to the atmosphere, the pipe should have an alloy bung to blank it off. not sure why it has duct tape on it?
