Hi,
I've just brought a 199 ulk impreza turbo. It has an induction kit fitted which i wanted to change back to standard. I ordered an air box from a breakers which has arrived however it is just the box, no pipes.
This box seems to have the hole for the pipe (looks like a square bracket with 4 bolts should fit it) on the opposite side to the pipe from the engine, its facing towards the drivers seat if you get what i mean.
I used to have a 1993 wrx and i think the air box was the same on that. On that car the pipe to the engine ran up near the turbo. On this 1999 uk car it seems the pipe from the air box runs to the front top part of the engine, just behind the power steering. Is this right?
Does it sound like i have the wrong air box?

Please if anyone has a 1999 car could they do me a favor and take some pics of the standard air filter setup so i know what i need.
