Default Car Towing

Hi, I have a UK Calssic that I use for track days only, and I am thinking about taking it off the road and towing to tracks etc.

I have looked at full trailers but dont have the room to store one. I dont know if a small two wheel dolly would be safe/legal?

Anyone got any ideas what is the cheapest way but does not involve full motorhomes!
