classic, overboost
since decatting my classic my00 ,it boosts easly upto .11 ,it hasn't been mapped is it safe on the engine letting it boost this much and possably a bit more .12 ?

i have a v2 sti on a 95 plate. ive just fitted a full de cat system and now it overboosts! so i need to get it re mapped otherwise i keep experiencing fuel cut if i accelerate hard!

If yours is an Sti 6, its most definately not safe, they were designed to run on 100ron fuel and the decat is throwing more air into the equation. I'd get the car to Andy ASAP run it on Vpower or Tescos super so the RON is as close to what it was intended to run on and keep it off boost till then, or you risk nipping a piston!

that doesnt sound good, i was planning on taking it for a 1/4 mile day at crail this weekend (banzia attack)

Stick to Vpower and get the car mapped for it asap mate.
Trust me, failures on STi 5 and 6s (including the P1, which is a uk car basically running a STi5 map) are very common owing to the fuel issue
