Cant pass thru MOT . Please Help
Hi scooby m8:ts.
I have a 1996 Wrx Type RA with some modifications.
3" exhaust
K/N Filter with cold intake
Forge Dumpvalve
FMIC
Samco Hoses
Walbro 255 fuelpump
Blitz Dual Spec R Boostcontrol
Catchtank
Phase 2, 440cc injectors with adapter
Power FC with remap done after modifications.
Car is running with 1.23 bar boost (The injectors is working at 99% on this boost)
Horsepowers: 334, Torque: 447 NM
I have a big problem, I was on MOT yesterday, and could pass the exhaust emission control.
I have 500-600 in HC (Under 100 legal in Sweden)
and around 5-7 in CO2 (Under 1.0 is legal in Sweden.
So I assume it running rich as ****
This is on Idle, when I rev the engine and hold it on 2500-3000, the values become good and legal. We have bought a new O2 sensor, and have looked at all the wires and the signal is good and the O2 sensor is working.
I have new Platinum sparkplugs and nice new Redline oil.
I called the guy that did the remap, and he said that the remap couldnt be the problem, becouse the Lambda should calibrate the fuel on Idle. And the Lambda is enabled in the Power FC (Just checked it)
What could be wrong? Have a new MOT time tommorrow, but we cant sort it out. Would be happy if anybody could come with good ideas.
Btw. The car is smoking little blue when you start it, so Im gonna change the valve seals in the future, but this shouldnt be the problem.

I dont understand: the MOT is done at 2500 - 3500 rpm isnt it?
...if it is, then you should pass according to your post!???
the Lambda probe WILL control the fuelling at steady state rpm (i.e constant3000rpm) as you say the Apexi is set to control o2
