Default cambelt 2.5 conversion

Hi all im hoping someone can help, im in the process of a 2.5 conversion and have just come to fitting the cambelt, lined everything up correctly and found that the cambelt seems too tight, its fully tentioned and i haven't even pulled out the the pin in the hydralic tensioner. Is this how it should be? or have i done something wrong?

Although it may seem fuuly tightened, it isn't yet.

Pull the pin, it's fine
