Classic centre section???
Thinking of having the centre section of my exhaust replaced. Its standard at the mo and thinking of going for the Magnex centre without the resonator. My question is would this give any more power and will it change the noise a lot (already has Magnex back box)????

I have the same system on my MY99. I fitted the back box first then the middle before mapping. It did make the sound slightly deeper. I now get a few pops when lifting off, added bonus The system, as I'm sure you are aware, is top quality and really easy to fit. I bought my middle section via ebay (reputable firm I may add) It cost £80 inc p+p. As for power, marginal, It did help spool up though and I noticed the boost seemed to come in a little earlier.

As scooby53 said, not much to gain, but a little difference will be noticed. Best get the front cat off,if your worried about MOT's fit a 100cel sports cat,(quite costly mind)and you'll wish you'd done it sooner!
