ive just had timing belt and water pump chnaged, and since its been back from garage boost is down by half, used to go up to 1.1 but now wont go more than 0.5, car does have a front mount intercooler and was told they had to take pipes off when they did job. if they arent on correct could tht b the issue. am calling back into garage today. just wondering if any1 had an idea b4 i went. its a 95 wrx by the way

sounds most likely to be an air leak.................

0.5 = 7 psi which is what teh original boost setting is, isnt it?
.....boost controller plumbing loose or wiring knocked perhaps?

 

is it on the standard boost solenoid? try swapping the pipes around.
