Can you remove back seat including back of seat from inside car without going in to the boot, and then access boot lock to turn off lock so that you can open boot from lever next to drivers seat, boot lock seems to be seized key will not turn in boot lock car is a P1

 

You can remove the seat yes, but doesn't the P1 have a full rear bulkhead...??? in which case you can't access the boot anyway.,......

 

Yep. Easy peasy. Two bolts in footwell below rear seat squab. Lift out. Two or three same sized bolts at bottom of rear seat back - take out and unhook top of seat back (pull down and out to remove). This reveals a a square section removable bar that runs across the removable bulkhead which is some sort of cardboard or plastic. Takes about 5 mins to get that lot off. I've done it many times in my P1
