I changed from mobil one syn 15w50 to millers cfs 10w40. The millers is quieter, and regarded by many to be one of the best. And comes in 5L,so no need to buy an extra liter as many come in 4L!
is morris oils 5/40 fully synthetic ok for a 2003 wrx, also what type and quantities do I need to do the transmission and diff oil change,
Thanks
Darren
As a direct answer to your actual question, yes, it's fine.
The gearbox and rear diff. both use, typically, 75w/90 gearbox 3.5ltrs, final drive 0.8ltrs
Thanks for that, as I can get morris fully synthetic for £18 for 5 litres which I thought was good value, I will probably just pick up a 5 litre of gearbox oil then now ready for the service in July,
