coolant temp sensor

can someone please tell me where the coolant temp sensor is on my 98/99 wrx sti please as hoping this will cure my start up/cut out problem.

under the inlet manifold you've got a large water pipe runing across the block, You'll see a sensor screwed into it. Thats your CTS mate
