Default check engine light

my check engine light has just come on whilst out driving about
how do i figure out the codes to work out the source of the problem?just recently had a new o2 sensor fitted could it be something to do with that?

cheers,i have done that any the error code im getting is 22 which is knock sensor?what does this mean and is it serious?will resetting the ecu get rid of the problem?

it might do, depends on whether it failed or whether it detected too much knock. Does the cel light come on all the time you are driving, or is it clear then after a while, or hard accel, come on??

Probably means your knock sensor has failed. If it was me, I'd change it ASAP as this detects detonation and worse case scenario could mean bottom end damage.
