Default Blitz backbox?

Hi all can anyone tell me the cheapest place to get just the backbox and what is the difference between the nur s and nur r? Does the bb flange mate to a 2.5" centre pipe or do i need a 3" one?
Just followed a classic today with a blitz and it sounds awesome.
I have an o6 wrx hawkeye.
Thanks.

the nur spec s is a 2.5" system wich will bolt straight onto a stantard centre section. but the nur spec r is a 3" system and the backbox will only fit the nur spec r centre section, because the bend is on the centre section not the backbox. oh and the nur spec r is louder as its got removable baffels.

cheers kyle

But are the spec s and spec r the same backbox apart from the spec r having the backbox and centre pipe as one 3" system ,and the spec s just the back box closing to a 2.5" standard centre pipe.
Because i already have a straight through centre pipe and dont want to spend money on a cat back system.
Thanks for help.

the nur spec r does'nt bolt to a standard centre section because it has no bends the bends are in the centre section what you get with it, not on the actual backbox thats why you can only buy as a cat back, not just the backbox on its own. the nur spec s will fit your car though because it is oe fitment.

cheers kyle

Thumbs up

I have the Nur spec R fitted to a 2005 bug eye, and with the centre section aswell it was no bother at all to fit, bought it off a mate of mine for £200 which thought was a bargain. As for the noise, well that is something else, with the baffle out it sounds tremendous when shifting along a bit, the only thing I find is that if you're tootling along at a steady rate the air in the car vibrates a little with all the windows closed (very similar sensation as to having a back window slightly open and front windows shut in a larger/estate car (if that makes any sense!!!)) and I do find myself driving along with the front window cracked open to alleviate this. The noise is well worth it though. All these issues are minor and of course with the baffle fitted its alot quieter and more relaxing for those longer journeys.
