External Screamer Pipe
As above, Where do i get one from? I'm not after any more performance but could always do with some more NOISE
Is there a lot to them and will i need to mess around with external wastegates etc.
Cheers

i looked into this but i think the only ones you get are from greenwood racing but they are very expensive you have to get the whole system and it's over a grand i think. i did mine by buying a magnex decat downpipe which wasnt a bell mouth design, and had a separate pipe joining the downpipe, and took it to a welder who chopped and extended to the side of car and made a flange for the mouth inside to direct the wastegate stuff.
it is now sold way too loud above 3k revs.

Fitted one to a 200sx a while back, it sounded good on boost....But on idle it was a different story!!! Sounded like a tractor!
Put it down to not being able to seal the wastegate side fully so it was leaking exhaust gas through the screamer on idle.
Tryed all sorts to seal it, but in the end it allways blew through!
They come with an insert on the flange that is supposed to seperate the gasses, but there very hard too seal.
Wasent a cheap product, just the design of the insert was never going to work well as it had to follow the contours on the inside of the turbo outlet to seal it.
Never seen them for imprezas....Phew!!!

Why not just remove the whole exhaust system from the downpipe back? I guarantee it'll be noisy and will release exhaust gas right under the cabin just like a screamer will.
