hi guys i have a 1994 (MY94) sti, does anybody know what turbo unit it uses and what is the maximum power i will be able to push it to, i know the full STI
(MY95) has the tdo5 but i think the first sti was a hybrid of the wrx

Still think it has a td05 think the VF series were introduced on the version 3 STIs may be wrong though.

TD05 will make good power but all the other parts will restrict it

Should be TD05 MY95 is

tdo5 and with supporting mods around 350 ish....

td05 is on early WRX saloons (so i would doubt they would put a smaller turbo on an improved model but the turbo should have id marks on it so you can check it) and they can run 1.4-1.5bar but you will need better fuelling ,ecu that can handle the mods,fmic to start.
