boost problem

Default boost problem

Tried cleanin the boost solenoid only had wd40. didnt make any difference. car is still spultering. Could it b the MAF sensor even though there aint a engine management light on?? Help? cheers

well it doesnt idle it wants 2 stall. Then wen drivin get 2 bout 60 and it starts sputering.

What car you got? Try unplugging the MAF socket and see if anything changes.

I'm not to sure I'll help but my 97 wagon used to cut out quite violently and I initially thought it was the boost solanoid due to being overfilled with oil. it turned out to be the dump valve under the intercooler.
P.S - Did you clean the solanoid with the car in diagnostic mode IE with the plugs connected under the dash which might help clean it better .Try searching on boost solanoid for details

boost solenoid is not related to idle, try cleaning the iacv first (idle air control valve) as it may be sticking.

Its a turbo 2000 bout a year an a half ago the MAF sensor went, got a new 1 car has bn fine until now.
