There's a small spring that fixes on top of the gearbox. It goes from the selector to the bracket with a big rubber bush under it on the passenger side of the box.
£2 part from main dealer, i had to do mine last week.

5 minute job. Took longer to jack the car up. Put the spring on the selector first, then with a pliers pull the other end and clip it on the bracket with the bush under it.
