what oil do i need

i have a turbo 2000 impreza running 300+ BHP and i am changing plugs coil packs oil fillter and oil but dont know what oil is best to use can any one help me please

I use Shell Helix 5/40. I'm running 281bhp/312 lb ft in a MY99. This oil was recommended by a top mapper! Good enough for me.
