Right did have a standard scooby when i swapped it but now i have the folling mods

Welbro fuel pump
440 injectors
fmic
indutcion kit
z4 ecu which i swapped for a u8

Right i have 3 error codes 21 - 24 - 44 (i will check again) but since then i have replaced all 3 and reset the ecu on several accassions and still have the same 3 errors code.

I have noticed spluttering when cold and when hot in low revs like the exhaust bubbling away (it's hard to explain)

Also the car smells of petrol is this due to the 440's - and would this cause black **** to come out of my exhaust.

It is due in for a esl board and remap soon.

I will check the ecu codes again tomorrow to see for def.

you shouldn't be driving about with 440s on a 380s map.. the change is not massive but will be running rich, and could be related to the codes

All codes bar one are related to items that use ECU Connector B44, including the Injectors Codes 14, 15, 16 & 17 (I've never seen these logged before)which in your email you say the U8 logs but the Z4 doesn't !!!

440's should work OK, even if a little rich on boost as a number of people have driven to me on 440's without issue or error codes.

I still reckon you have a wiring fault, but hopefully this reply will bump you up to the top and get a few more answers....as I'm stumped if you have changed all the above and still get the codes.
