Default Early classic re-map?

Im looking to have my 96 WRX re-mapped. Being an import, Im hoping to free up some power, and try to improve mpg with our lower octane fuel. I have a full stainless system fitted, and an after market panel filter already, but would like the re-map to take advantage of the mods.

I heard re-mapping early classics can sometimes be a problem, and hit the wallet hard. Is this true? And could anyone recommend anywhere around the midlands to get it done. Was thinking of scooby clinic, which is about an hour north of me. Thanks for any advice

So as good as £800? Thats not too bad.

Unfortunately, the system was already fitted over in Japan, so still has all the cats. Thinking of a straight-through centre section tho.

Cheers for the help guys
