Default Reverse std Dump Valve?

Ok just a quickie.. Im having a few issues iwht my motor (https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...eak-boost.html) and would like to try something..

Basically i want to see if there is a leak before, or after my turbo in the pipe work.. When accelerating i get a sucking noise, and when i lift off i get a loud noise (similar to a VTA dv). Anyhow I wan't to effectively block off my std dump valve so when i lift off the throttle i should just hear the turbo stalling and not a VTA type noise.

If i just revers the standard DV will this stop it working and force the air back through the turbo on lift off? Will it allow air to bypass the turbo on acceleration? I want it to act as a solid piece of bar (if i had some id use a bar).

I know its not recommemded etc but im just trying to pin point my problem... cheers!
