Hi everyone just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction Ive had a 1994 sti since early 2005 now and about 4 months ago my clutch started slipping also I think a wheel bearing has gone and my MOT ran out I have been pretty skint for the last year but have managed to hold on to my pride and joy through the rough patch anyway now I am starting to get back on my feet again its time to get the old girl fixed back up can anyone tell me where best \ cheapest to buy my clutch from im based in leeds any help would be very much apreciated
thanks alot bud ill take a look on there now is it hard to fit a new clutch? im no car mechanic but Ive always repaired my own cars as far as replacing an engine but this was on a pug 306 the most Ive ever done on my scoob is changed the plugs
I bought a clutch off that Exede guy from Coventry and seems to be fine, 500 miles or so later going strong - made me realise how worn the old one was - v bad judder and slip got un-driveable!
Subaru book time i think is 5 hours for a clutch change.... so that's a weekend on your drive - no special tools needed so you can do it yourself with the ususal gear - easier for access if you have a ramp but not essential.
