hi help please, I've had my07 wrx from new, it had oil change at 1000 miles i am going to take in next month for a service but i need to top up the oil level, i looked in the manual for the correct oil to put in. i also looked at the recite from the garage to see what they put in. on the recite it says gtx magnatec 10/ and nothing more, in my owners manual it says sae 5w-30. so what oil do you recommend to top up with. thanks

hi mark it will be 10/40 as thats what the most subaru dealers use but to be honnest when you have it next serviced look at fully synthetic like motul or silkolene or millers at 10/40 or 15/50 or 10/50 as gtx magnatec is pretty much crap hope that helps
