Default Standard dump valve.

when i got my car it came with a dump valve, which was fine at first but its now starting to annoy me, lol. i have a standard dump valve from a my99 up the shed and was wondering if i could use that. my car is a my97, i know the intercoolers where different but i all ready have the later one fitted, are hte standard dump valves the same. thanks.

No the dumpvalves are different, the MY99 bolts directly on to the intercooler whereas the MY97/98 dumpvalves fits on to a pipe coming off the intercooler.
