Default Boosting noise ... Boost problem?

Just had a new exhaust system fitted from the turbo back.

When I accelerate I get a pst pst pst pst pst noise while on higher boost.

My car is a 1993 WRX saloon running 17psi of boost.

Although I get the noise I do not seem to loose any boost pressure and the car drives fine.

My thought was that it was where the bell mouth fits onto the back of the turbo, so new gasket fitted and tightened up tight. Gas leak test done and can't find any leaks.

Could something else have been disturbed whilst fitting the exhaust ... I am assuming I must have a leak somewhere but it is where to look. I don't want to pay a garage good money just to find the leak if I can find it myself.

Has anyone else experienced this.

Thanks
Dave.

do you have an inductoin kit fitted ? as when the car comes on boost it will make this type of noise also now you have a turbo back exhaust this will make it
even loader as the gasses and airflow are more free
