I don't know enough about whether the swap is possible or not but if it is I would definately NOT recommend a twin turbo. I had a GTB TT Legacy and hated it! It had a massive flat spot (referred to as the valley of death) where the first turbo stops and the second starts spooling at around 3500 - 5000 ish rpm and within this range the car was as flat as a fart. I don't think there is much you can do to overcome it either, its just an inherent problem with the design. I got rid of my Legacy after a couple of months and bought an Sti2 wagon which pulls hard throughout the rev range and is much more fun. I had the legacy on the rollers and it was giving 263bhp (can't remember ft lb) which is no better than a single turbo EJ20.

There are others on here who I'm sure will disagree but save your self the hassle of doing it and the disappointment once its in - in my opinion!!

Agree with above. Valley of Death is sh@t.
I had an RS twin turbo Legacy and although it was very quick above 5000rpm when the 2nd turbo came in, I'd never have another.
If you changed down a gear to overtake and hit the VOD, you had no turbo till you were half way out on the other side of the road.
On the bright side, a muppet in a Corsa wrote mine off for me and I bought an MY99 turbo with the insurance money which would eat the Leggy.
Also, the tuning capabilities of the twin turbo engine are very restrictive.
I had trouble finding a backbox for it!!!
