up pipe jdm cars

can anyone telm me for sure if a 2003 jdm wrx has a cat/ pre cat in the up pipe?

Not for sure mate but I'm sure it was just the UKDM/EUDM cars that had to meet the tight european emmission laws. That would mean that the JDM would only have the 2 post cats.

But again not 100%

There is no cat in the up pipe on my 2003 jdm car

the only cat in my car was the downpipe
