fitting apexi/jap ecu to a uk car?

am i right in thinking that pins 1 and 2 need swapping on B136 for a 98 uk turbo to run a jap/apexi ecu???

yep and you'll probably need to swap the pins on the connect at other end, pins 7 to 17 or vica-versa for the fuel pump.
