04 STI exhaust on a 01 WRX???

I have a full decat on my01 bugeye WRX and MOT is looming, would a standard downpipe from a 04 WRX STI fit and pass the MOT? and If not, would just the centre cat get it through? cheers

The STI downpipe should be fine, the centre cat will not pass on its own though

OK, thanks, will it pass with just the downpipe cat, if so i'll just get the downpipe.

i have heard of cars going through with cats removed. personally i would get it tested, if it fails put the system back to normal and get it retested. could save you a job.
