Default Exhaust modifications help

I am starting to think about some exhaust modifications for my MY99 turbo.

It was noted in the inspection when I bought the car a month ago that the exhaust was a bit rough and would need replacing in the near future (6-12 months). I have done a search on here and have found some good advice.

Looking to add some more power without messing with the computer and hopefully reduce some of the lag.

My list so far is:
- everything stainless steel & 2.5"
- Ninja down pipe with fast flow cat
- Afterburner de-cat centre with bubble silencer

That is where I run into trouble. I would like a free flowing rear silencer that is not NOISY (been there, done that, got tiresome quickly). Can anyone suggest a one that is only a bit louder than stock and looks good as well? I downloaded Ninja II and Racebox video clips from the Scoobyworld site and they are too loud.

Also, is it worth getting an Afterburner up pipe to help with the power increase?

Thanks again people.

Thumbs up

I have just fitted a Megnex 6X4 oval to my standard system MY98 classic, after having a scoobysport box on for 4 years, the Magnex is a lot nicer, not too loud, but still gives you the subaru rumble,i would recommend
