Default Fitting STI 8 Brake Master Cylinder to a classic

Anyone fitted an STI 8 Master cylinder to their classic impreza. There are 4 brake pipes coming off the old master cylinder and only 2 off the STI 8Cylinder. Basically the old master cylinder has one brake pipe for each caliper. Can i just tee off the the front brake pipes together to fit to the STI 8 cylinder and do the same with the rears. Would this create a good enough pressure in the brake pipes?

Any help much appreciated.

I have just been told by a few people that fitting the STI 8 master cylinder after a brembo conversion improved braking further. My master cylinder is poor anyway so i thought i would give it a go. May be down to the 8 master cylinder pumping the fluid more efficiently.
