Default Why would 550 injector flow better at 380 settings?

Hi all,
Had a ECUTEK remap done recently and unfortunately my 550s from a 2006 spec C would only flow best at 380 map?!
The car is a 2001 bugeye wrx uk and the other mods done are VF28 turbo, race cat downpipe, decat uppipe, center decat, sytec walbro fuel pump, JR panel filter.
Does anybody have any ideas as to what could cause this or even better how to fix ?
Its going into the garage soon to have plugs changed and so can check any ideas out then.

Many thanks

Toby

Question doesn't make sense.

What exactly is the problem with the end result? Did you have to run the car at lower boost? Are you sure the MAF sensor was in good health before the remap was started?

Not being funny, but I would have expected the mapper to have come up with the answers

I thought I did

injectors fitted were suppose to be or are from a spec c and blue and therefore 550cc.

I load my 550cc base map and the ecu is adding too much correction.. I tried a few increments inbetween but ended up loading my 380cc injector base map and correction via ecu and wideband sensor within normal limits for 380cc injectors.. then mapped it and did the usual fine tuning on the fuelling but basically they flow like 380cc injectors..

They did seem to flow reasonably well in that we got to reasonable boost on the new turbo but not like 550cc injectors..

I'd suggest getting the injectors flow tested, in the worst case one of them may be partly choked or only partly opening at a certain duty cycle. Its possible that one cylinder could be running leaner than the others.

I thought 550 injectors were pink ? Are you sure the injectors are 550cc ones ?

i had some blue 501cc items out of a legacy i believe, that with an adj fpr would flow 550cc at 3.5bar fuel pressure....... not all are pink.

didn't act like that.. and I did have a little play with fuelling to check.

It is a weird one.. once mapped up on these injectors it went nice.. but they just didn't flow as 550s

that is the whole question.. they are suppose to be 550s but don't flow like it..

the sti injectors are pink and 550.. but these came from a spec c 06 iirc which also should be 550 I believe.

the blue variants are the same flow as the pink units, suggests a problem elsewhere.

Beware the basemap.....

which is what was expected..

basemap is one I have developed for 380cc injectors and works perfect on 380cc injector cars etc.. I obviously then spent lots of time fine tuning from that and they deffo did not flow 550cc
