what does your boost guage read at idle????

Do alll cars read the same at idle or do mods effect it?

it shouldn`t make a reading so whatever the loest point on the gauge is thats where it should be iirc

Should be a vacuum at idle and on overrun if your gauge can show them...

it runs minus boost at first then goes up to zero and above

yeah nice one.
As too much boost can damage your engine, overboosting, can too much vacum be damaging too?

Mine runs -0.65 bar ish on idle when warm.
Or that's what my data monitor says.
Does drop to -0.75ish on overrun.

A typical engine will idle at 0.3-0.43 bar absolute (-0.7 to -0.65 bar guage ) at idle, obviously any friction resulting in higher loads for the ISCV to compensate will increas the pressure (decrease the negative) so cold oil, heated rear window etc.
