My car is a 94 wrx import, my steering has got rally heavy and judders at some points ( fine in straight line), i have changed the power steering pump and bled it several times, pump is quite noisy, and as above judders going on about half lock either direction. Even with the new pump in its still heavy can anyone help???????

sounds odd? maybe an airlock ?
though past experiences when the pump reservoir is upto max fill level,,,with the car stationary and engine running,,,turn the steering wheel from left to right on full lock each time.
try it a good few times to get rid of and air locks (you should be able to hear the air in the pipes) after a while it should go and steering be back to normal.

failing that,,,,i dunno !

edit ; - dont forget to leave the cap on the pump as you will have fluid everywhere !

Turned it lock to lock several times will keep trying though. Although i thought cap had to be off to release the air?

thanks
