Just fitted a boost gauge, gone for a run and it only shows +0.5 bar about 7psi.
Fitted on MY93 JDM, fitted in middle pipe on manifold, t'd it off to guage, any thing else i should know??
Thanx, Steve.

If you know anyone with a MityVac you can test the gauge to see if it is that that is reading low or the car that is not producing the correct amount of boost.
Have you had the car for a while, if so does it feel to be boosting like it used to (I have no idea what boost a MY93 JDM should produce sorry)?

Only had the car bout a month, doesnt feel any different, the guage is NOT new, it was in the glove box when i got the car so poss dodgy. Just had 140mph on test run and she was still going.
Also fitted Forge dump valve yesterday if thats any help.
Think i buy brand new guage before i dig any deeper.

Hello!
If the car has a catalytic converter, that can degrade and limit boost to 0.5 bar, as happenhed on my 2002 STi
The gauge should be connected just upstream of the dump valve (probably mounted on the intercooler), in the little vacuum pipe that feeds into it.
Good luck!

Right i have checked all theboost/vacum pipework and all is clear with no leaks, i have checked the new forge dv and it seems to be operating correctly and have reset the ecu by disconnecting for half an hour or so, still only 0.5 bar boost. So i thought the next thing, check the boost solenoid, upon looking at the solenoid it has what i can only describe as an adjuster on the top of it, a black thumb screw that turns both clock and anti clock wise, could this be a boost control valve that someone has fitted or is it a standard part of the solenoid?? I have found no mention of the adjuster in any threads that i have read!

i just fitted a boost gauge to my 1995 uk classic it was standard when i bought it .the only mods i have done are a decat centre pipe and back box ,a pipertcross induction kit and a bailey dump valve .mine sows 0.7 on the gauge.

I got Fujitsu Industries 27C1028 chip with is suppose to raise boost to 16psi 1.1 bar, decat downpipe (only cat is in middle pipe) forge dv and k&n cone and what iam hoping is a dodgy boost guage! Cause she feels fine, pulls all the way but the needle will not pass 0.5bar, if it is only boosting to 0.5 she will be like a fighter jet at 1.1bar!!!!!!!!!!

Congatulations! Top site with all the info a scoob virgin can ask for! Problem was boost solenoid. Car now sorted, running 1.1 bar with all new vacuum/boost hoses.
Boy what a difference, i can actually see the fuel gauge moving now, proper boost
Many Thanx to you all

what hayman said.. there should be pipework from boost soleniod to turbo
I presume there is a single pipe between actuator and compressor cover
