thanks for the reply already printed that info off from another link but it may as well be swaheely for how much it means to me whats it all about i hear all this terminology ie boost control, ignition duty, air flow ratios but what should they be? when do i know if i have a problem when should i alter somthing ie ign-duty what should i do if eg im experencing knock @ high revs as i have done! sorry for all the questions but im sure there are lots of people on here that dont understand this either and just nod when those in the know start talking about this stuff, after all its all very well having all this info to hand but if you dont understand it its no use..

I have my commander mounted in the dash as per the pic below.

I usually have it running 2 channels, boost and knock. After recently fitting an AIT sensor I now monitor 4 channels. The problem is that the 4 channels complicates the screen.

My advice would be to spend a week or 2 running 2 channels.

Do Boost - IDC, Boost - Knock, IDC - Knock.

I say this just so that YOU know what is normal for your car. Its when something looks abnormale that you should worry. Unless its already been done get the CEL to display knock above what is normal for your car. Needs to be done via datalogit and not commander.

Wayne.
