OK PROBLEM...so i connected all the wires turned the key..put the accellerator down then at half way for 2 secs then released it - while the key was turned i cud hear a clicking wining noise and the fans wre going on then off?! weird. turned the ignition on and the engine light didnt come on or pulse. do i need to drive it until warm (only quarter way up in temp at the mo) and then the ecu resets?

the fans etc and relays is the test mode and you will get it when reseting etc

I presume you had a recorded error code before?

probably antoher thread?

if the problem doesn't reoccur then it could have been a one off blip etc..
