Default flat spot in 2nd gear

hi all,i have a flat spot just as i change into 2nd ..does anyone have any ideas what this could be. my car is a bugeye (uk) wrx.

possible overboost or slight knock and the ecu has pulled timing back..

would be easy spot if plugged into diagnostics etc..

remap time perhaps.
