any thoughts before I get one?

LOL. Yep. It sucks!! Geddit?!?!!

Do you even need ANY kind of induction kit mate. Generally they're completely unnecessary untill you're running the kind of power where a FMIC is advisable. Gains, if you get any, from fitting are nominal and there is increased risk of MAF damage with some MY scoobies.

This is almost as legendary as the chrome plastic BOV's they were offloading at rotorstock last year. They looked kinda like those lolly whistles you used to get on the counter at the chemists
