Random hose - not connected to anything.
I've just had the inlet manifold off to change some fuel pipes and have found a rubber hose that's not connected to anything.
The hose is under the intercooler on the passenger side and runs up to the end of the inlet manifold.
Car is running fine and I can't for the life of me see where it goes or even remember taking it off. It doesn't have a hose clip on the end that's disconnected.
Is it just an open to air breather?
1st pic - it's the hose with the right angled end.
2nd pic, hose comes out of this black lump and through the cable tie on the bottom right of the picture. Is this some sort of EGR valve??
p.s. Both pics taken holding camera below intercooler facing towards front of engine bay.
p.p.s I'd really appreciate if someone could have a look on their car for me, any newage WRX should do.

That's what I have, a single hose coming off the nearside TGV. Doesn't show anything in the manual, thanks Rich.
It's this small hose circled in red, it does come off the nearside TGV.
Thanks again Rich, I can sleep soundly tonight
