Default Coil pack - MY97 STI?

(Sorry if this is a really stupid/obvious question)

I am planning to change the spark plugs on my MY97 (version 3) STI soon.
My car has red ht leads with red rubber ends going into the head - where the spark plug is. Can someone tell me if underneath that rubber end there is just a spark plug or if there is a coil pack as well?

Have been searching on here but can't seem to find the answer.

Cheers

The coil pack is in the centre of the inlet manifold which the coil leads connect to at the top, there will only be a spark plug when you remove the leads.

coil pack over plug was used from 92-96 and on the 2001- cars, form 97 to 00 the coil was mounted on the inlet manifold.
