Default Engine Help

hey everybody
got a bit of a problem,
everytime i put my clutch down the cars revs go up a bit n engine warning light comes on?
im confused dont have a clue ????
why do u think it is happening????

Either you have a big airleak into the manifold after the throttle, or your idle control valve is sticking open....

thanks 4 dat i gna check 2 see if it is dat i recently got a nurspec put on so duno shudnt b air leak i duno lol but it is worrying me

if it is a classic then you can check what error code it is recording when it puts the light on which should help trace the problem this is explained here
