i didn't know there were 2xcats...... which one has to stay in for mot? or is it either????
will up pipe give more power on it's own?
can you get an upgraded downpipe still with cat? expensive I assume?
my car has a prodrive rear box, but dunno what the centre section is or if it's de-cat or whatever?

classics up to 2000 have a cat in the downpipe and midpipe if a uk version, jdm's (jap domestic market or imports) have only a cat in the downpipe and normally a resonated center section, newage onwards have cats also in the uppipes depending on spec,so could have 3 cats in total..... loosing all cats increases power but would benefit from remapping to take account of the increased air flow...... there are other issues but thats a generilsation.
